ITALY

From the time I was a little girl, we have travelled to Italy. Lake Como was may parents' favourite holiday destination, but we also went to Tuscany. When I grew older visited Rome and in the past few years we also took our children to Italy.
They have a great love for Italy if not only for the food, which they all love. For me, besides the food, Italy is a beautiful country with beautiful cities and countryside and lovely authentic people, who adore children, which is why it is such a great country to travel around as a family.
In 2021 we travelled with our family around Italy for 5 weeks, starting at Lake Como, going south to Tuscany, Rome, Naples, Matera (the incredible 'cave town' where the most recent James Bond film was shot), Puglia, and then back north to Bologna. Travelling with my family means doing a lot, visiting sights, cities and picturesque villages and spending time in and around the water.
